On the first day of school, I had my students write letters to themselves to reflect on the year ahead of them. I asked them to cover a list of topics, including: my favorite class will probably be, my goals in an out of school, my feelings about the first day of school, etc. One letter included this thought:
“The challenges I think I will face is testes.”
sounds like the sort of brainless assignment i hated writing in middle school.
