I’m trying to quickly put together the end of my photography lesson for tomorrow before taking a shower and curling up with Dito Montiel’s A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, but I have to share the good news:
1) Yesterday, I was offered a monthly writing gig. The pay is small, but I’m really excited about getting paid for something I normally do for free.
2) Today, I found out that two of my stories are currently being considered for publication in a book! I was asked to complete the paperwork for a copyright and to send in biographical information as soon as possible. Needless to say, I’m thrilled. I’m going to hang onto this feeling as long as possible and get down to business with my writing. I’ve been procrastinating too long.
