Tomorrow’s a big day

1. I’ll be escorting a group of students on a field trip, which may or may not be the bane of my existence.

2. After school, I’m teaching my first photography class. I know that it should be comfortable, especially since these are students I already teach Reading to. However, I feel nervous. I’m not sure why.

3. I’ll be featured on a live radio show tomorrow night. I’ll be reading a story I wrote and maybe engaging in some chit-chat. It’s not quite NPR, but I’ve never been on the radio before. People will actually be able to call in and talk to me, and I can pimp this blog while piquing the interest of various book publishers and talent agents. Well, probably not, but I’m that much closer to being David Sedaris (or Sarah Vowell - I’d settle for her). The show will be available by podcast, so I may post that later.

Congrats on the talk radio gig.
Our little Ms. Adventures is movin’ up in the world!

Does it make you nervous knowing you’ll get a lot more strangers hitting your site?

I don’t know how many more might be reading - Thursday night independent talk radio isn’t too popular. But the possibility of more readers is exciting, even if it means more odd comments. The more, the merrier.

    And thanks for your congrats!
