The host of the comedy show takes the stage to introduce the next comic. He scans the room, looking for something to say, and sees an elderly woman has joined the group of people on the front right side of the room.
Host: Yeah… Oh, hey! You’re new here, aren’t you?
Woman: Yes.
Host: Well, welcome to Comedy-
Woman: But not from Mars.
Host: Huh?
Woman: I didn’t come from Mars.
Host: [nervous and perhaps feeling upstaged already] Ooookay…
Woman: My friend has been to Mars, but not me.
Host: [winking at the rest of the audience] So what was that like for your friend - Mars?
Woman: Oh, I can’t talk about it. That’s private. No, I can’t talk about it.
Host: [stage-whispering] Did somebody plant her? [to the woman] Are you an actress?
Woman: Huh? No.
