The Internet version of nesting

Hi.

Unless you’re on some pretty interesting substances, you’ve probably noticed the blog has a new look. I sent Blogger packing and have started over with my own domain. I’ve wanted one since before the blogosphere - the idea and that silly term - took off and I stopped needing a training bra. I’m not sure why I waited so long. If this explains anything, I nearly missed the boat on skinny jeans, too.

The blog is white. Mad white. My bare legs in Miami white. This seems to be the trendy, reader-friendly thing to do online. I can’t decide if I need bold racing stripes down the sides to break things up or not. The blue links are also in question. Sure, the color’s great, but maybe something grungier would jive with the idea of riding public transportation. Maybe I need an orange that suggests a stranger’s lactose-addled cough right into my coat sleeve. Or a red that matches a spray painted obscenity that transit officials cannot throughly clean up.

Overall, I’m really happy with the new look. All that’s left to do is add a title to a bajillion more back entries and we’ve got cohesion, people!
