Taking the dog for an ewok

Last week, my friend Mike was dogsitting a wiry bundle of energy named Ollie. He’s a Brussels Griffon, the same breed as the dog in As Good As It Gets.

I’m not usually drawn to small dogs, but I thought he was adorable.

He made me want to be a better Amanda.

Apparently, there’s a need for foster homes for Brussels Griffons in a few states.

Could you use a little ewok in your life?

Hi amanda! I’m so glad you enjoyed him. We were so lucky to have mike monkey-sit while I was in Mexico. Olly is curled up next to me right now but available for visits anytime. (he makes me want to be a better amanda too)

I love Brussel Griffon’s. Thanks for sharing the video. It makes me want to get one even more now. I already have a name picked out Sprout! btw..love your blog! I’ve only been to NYC once and I am already in love with the place.

I was part of a thread of emails on the video. I want to share a quote from someone else. It’s a good idea!

“That video really is adorable. I love the old timie music. It makes it seem like it should be inter-cut with frames reading “A walk you say? Why that’s the cat’s pajamas!” and “Wine! That should woo her heart!”"
