Unwittingly, of course. It wasn’t on porpoise.

Just in case you ever want to write a screenplay, but you’re worried your idea is dumb…

What’s the worst movie you’ve seen lately?

Seen “Dinner for Schmucks” last night and walked out halfways through the film. It was terrible. Trust me and do not waste your time going to see it.

P.S. Great blog, keep on blogging!

That’s too bad. I believe it’s an American version of The Dinner Game, which is a good mix of funny and mean-spirited.

My worst movie of late is from awhile ago. New York, I Love You was horrible!

  3. Sean McKenna says:

I started to watch that recently and fall asleep about 15 minutes into it. Not really for me.

An excellent film I see a while back was “A Guide to Knowing Your Saints.” Based on the memoirs by Dito Montiel about gorwing up in Astoria, New York.

  4. Amanda says:

I did see A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints a few years ago. The actual memoir is very different, and I wasn’t a fan. I liked the film, though. Robert Downey Jr. was great, as was Shia LaBeouf.

  5. Mike says:

Worst movie? Wolfman with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins. It failed as both a b-rated horror and mainstream flick.

Best recently? I enjoyed both Restrepo and I Am Love. Makes you think (and opposite ends of the spectrum).

Biggest surprise? Pandorum - I’m a sucker for slasher and video game based films with a soft underbelly. Literally.

  6. Ryan Stevens says:

Despicable Me, for the win. I actually fell asleep during it, it was that bad. Without the cute little trio of cartoon kids, it just wasn’t all that engaging or funny.

  7. Charley says:

“Bed of Roses” was the most irritatingly upbeat and optimistic movie I have ever seen in my life. I just watched it for the first time about a week ago and kept waiting for something monumental to happen - it did not.
