About
I started this blog in 2005 to record my experiences as a shell-shocked - and then jaded - public school teacher in Harlem. I was one of many recent college grads who joined Teach For America, inspired to save the children. After two years, I ran out of patience and one-liners and went into marketing.
A native Texan, I’d been planning to move to NYC since I was 12 years old.
I write with my left hand and think with my right brain. There’s a bit more you may want to know about me.
Feel free to contact me with love letters, tellings off, writing opportunities, or anything else.
